Need help with TidyExit?
Email hruif@hotmail.com with your question, what you were trying to clean up, and your macOS version.
Why does TidyExit ask for my Library folder?
macOS stores app caches, preferences, containers, and related support files in your Library folder. TidyExit uses the folder you grant so it can show cleanup candidates for review.
Is anything deleted permanently?
No. Items you remove move to TidyExit's reversible quarantine first. From there, you can restore them or move them to the Trash.
Will it touch apps I still use?
Find Leftovers is conservative and avoids files belonging to apps that are still installed. Free Up Space skips caches for running apps.
What should I do if resetting an app removes something I need?
Open View Quarantine in TidyExit and restore the app's items. Some apps may also need to be reinstalled or signed into again after a reset.
