Privacy Policy

TidyExit does not collect any personal data. It has no analytics, no tracking, no accounts, and no network connections. Everything it does happens locally on your Mac.

What TidyExit accesses

To review app leftovers and selected app data, TidyExit asks you to grant access to your ~/Library folder through the standard macOS folder-selection dialog. Every file offered for cleanup comes from that folder. TidyExit also reads installed-app names and bundle identifiers to avoid misclassifying active app data and to support app-specific scans. It does not modify app bundles.

What TidyExit does with files

Files you choose to remove are moved to a local, reversible quarantine inside the app's own storage. You can restore quarantined files or move them to the Trash yourself.

Data collection and sharing

TidyExit does not collect, upload, sell, share, or transmit personal data. The app does not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
